Budget Proposals 2017/2018: PSX wants normal tax regime for its services

KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has urged Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) that its services should be brought under normal regime from next tax year.

Return filers increase to 1,133,341 by April 30

ISLAMABAD: The number of return filers has increased to 1,133,341 by week ended on April 30, 2017 from last week’s 1.12 million, according to updated Active Taxpayers List (ATL) issued by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday.

CPI inflation up by 4.8 percent in April

ISLAMABAD: Consumer Price Index (CPI) based inflation increased by 4.8 percent on year-on-year basis in April 2017 as compared to an increase of 4.9 percent in the previous month and 4.2 percent in April 2016, said Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Tuesday.
