ECC allows two months extension for sugar export

ISLAMABAD: Economic Coordination Committee of Cabinet (ECC) has approved to extend the deadline for export of sugar up to July 31 from May 31, 2017. The ECC directed the relevant ministries to ensure price stability especially during the holy month of Ramazan.

7,235 persons file return to avoid higher withholding tax rate

ISLAMABAD: In order to avoid higher rate of withholding tax, about 7,235 persons have filed their income tax return during week ending June 04, 2017, according to weekly Active Taxpayers List (ATL) issued by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
