KARACHI: Sindh government has earmarked Rs5 billion for wheat subsidy during fiscal year 2018/2019. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced this during his speech for budget 2018/2019 on Thursday.

KARACHI: The inflows of foreign remittances have increased by 4 percent to $16.2 billion during first 10 months (July – April) of current fiscal year as compared with $15.64 billion in corresponding period of the last fiscal year, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

Sindh presents tax free, deficit budget 2018/2019

KARACHI: The PPP-led Sindh government presented its sixth budget for fiscal year 2018/2019 on Thursday with total outlay of Rs1,144 billion with estimated deficit of Rs20.45 billion. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presented the budget for only next three months from July 01, 2018 to September 30, 2018.
