KARACHI: The rupee ended flat against dollar on Wednesday despite making gains in early trade on significant inflows. However, the higher demand for import payments put pressure on the rupee value.
The rupee ended Rs132.68 to the dollar from previous day’s closing of Rs132.67 in interbank foreign exchange market.
The interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the range of Rs132.30 and Rs132.60.
The market recorded day high of Rs132.68 and low of Rs132.30 and closed at Rs132.68.
In cash ready market the rupee value was remained flat as buying and selling of dollar recorded at Rs132.20/Rs132.60.
