KARACHI: The rupee gained Rs1.20 against dollar amid fluctuation in exchange rates in interbank foreign exchange market on Monday.
The rupee ended Rs137.85 to the dollar as compared with the last Friday’s closing of Rs139.05 to the dollar, in interbank foreign exchange market.
The interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the range of Rs137.00 and Rs138.00.
The market recorded day high of Rs138.25 and low of Rs136.00 and closed at Rs137.85.
In the open market the rupee was remained stable.
Malik Bostan, President, Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) said that buying and selling of dollar was remained unchanged at Rs137.00/Rs138.00 in the cash ready market.
