FBR splits Customs working into Policy and Operation; posts Members

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has divided the working of Pakistan Customs into Policy and Operations. The FBR on Thursday issued notification and posted two members on the post.

 

 

 

According to the notification, Muhammad Javed Ghani, BS-21 officer of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) has been transferred and posted as Member (Customs-Policy) from the post of Director General, Directorate General of Transit Trade.

The FBR transferred and posted Dr. Jawwad Owais Agha, BS-21 officer of PCS as Member (Customs-Operations) from the post of Chief Collector of Customs (North), Islamabad. The FBR has also assigned him to look after as Member (Legal & Accounting- Customs) in addition to his own duties with immediate effect and until further orders.

Ms. Surayia Ahmed Butt, BS-21 officer of PCS current posted as Director General, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi has been assigned to look after the charge of Director General, Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi in addition to her own duties with immediate effect.

Wasif Ali Memon, BS-21 officer of PCS, who is currently posted as Director General, Directorate of Post Clearance Audit, Islamabad has been assigned look after charge of Director General, Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit, Islamabad with immediate effect.

The FBR said that the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.

All above listed officers are requested to Relinquish/Assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available to FBR or by using their IJP logins.
